Joanna Coleman is a graphic artist, media designer and composer currently working as a freelance graphic designer and is cofounder of the culture association Sandkasten Syndikat – the home of klub møntage – a transdisciplinary research project for live composing and experimental music.

in her artistic work she is very much interested in creating time-based compositions and generative systems – as well as in visual and audio formats, but also in analog media like drawing or photography.

there, she seeks for challenging our viewing and listening habits.

she works in solo projects, but also in ensembles, duos, trios and big groups and is eager to explore the endless possibilities of improvised music and image as well as dramaturged and staged performance.
